To fulfill a minor in economics at the University of Arizona students must take at least 18 units of economics coursework, of which at least 9 units must be upper-division.

In addition to those general requirements, the course specifications listed in the Minor in Economics Curriculum Guide must be met.

To meet the 18 total unit requirement, additional economics electives should be selected based on your interests and goals.

Please note that enrollment into ECON 300 and 330 during the Fall and Spring Semesters is restricted to students who have been admitted to the Eller College. Students who minor in economics are only eligible to take ECON 300 and 330 during the Summer and Winter Sessions.

Students interested in taking ECON 332 or 361 should note that Math 113 or 116 or 122a/b or 125 is a prerequisite for both courses.
