Current Research
Professor Breman’s research combines psychology and economics, using both laboratory and field experiments to test insights from behavioral economics in the context of consumer behavior and charitable giving. Her lab and field experiments address questions of inter-temporal preferences in charitable giving, paternalistic altruism and corruption in foreign aid.
