Professor or Associate Professor

Subject to approval by the Office of the Provost, the Department of Economics is seeking one or more distinguished scholars to fill tenured positions. We are particularly interested in applications from established scholars in econometrics, environmental and energy economics, industrial organization, labor economics, microeconomic and game theory. Candidates must be engaged in significant ongoing research, have a strong publication record, and a demonstrated effectiveness in teaching. Rank and salary are open and competitive. Assistant Professor

Subject to approval by the Office of the Provost, the Department of Economics is seeking applicants for one or more possible tenure track openings at the assistant professor level for academic year 2011-12. Qualifications include the potential for significant research accomplishment and for distinguished teaching. Applicants must submit a curriculum vita, one research paper, and arrange for submission of three letters of recommendation. Application deadline is November 30, 2010.

Lecturer

Subject to approval by the Office of the Provost, the Department of Economics is seeking to hire one or more Lecturers (non-tenure-track but with multi-year contract status possible) to teach one or more undergraduate courses beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year. The candidate should possess at least a Master's degree in Economics (PhD strongly preferred), and must have demonstrated great success in teaching and administering large class sections.
